The Role

We are seeking a motivated and talented Front-End Software Developer to join our team, contributing to the development of our platform. In this role, you will work closely with the CTO and collaborate with our UI/UX Designer to develop and implement user interfaces that are visually appealing, intuitive, and user-friendly.

Responsibilities:

• Translate wireframes and mockups into functional and visually appealing user interfaces.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using CSS, Nextjs and TypeScript to create responsive web applications.

• Implement user interactions and features using modern front-end frameworks and libraries.

• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices.

• Optimise web applications for maximum speed and scalability.

• Work closely with the CTO to integrate front-end and backend functionality.

• Troubleshoot and debug front-end issues, ensuring smooth user experiences.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in front-end development.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of web development fundamentals, including JavaScript and Nextjs. You will need to be able to demonstrate these skills.

• Familiarity with front-end frameworks.

• Good understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles.

• Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn and adapt.

Nice to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Previous experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

• Portfolio to demonstrate your contribution on past projects.

• Good knowledge of TypeScript.
